A well-known network for over 50 years

In 1954, Godfroy Dubé and Laurent Rochon decided to combine the first syllable of each of their family names to form DURO^md, the first auto glass shop in Québec. Ten years later, proud of their business success, the owners decided to open a second shop in Lévis. In 1970, DURO^md was acquired bu Faucher & Fils Ltée, an auto glass and accessories wholesaler. That same year, a third store was opened. In the 1980s, the network entered a period of strong growth, with the opening of 10 stores. In February 1990, DURO^md vitres d'autos took its expansion to the next level, becoming a franchisor. It was an overnight success! In the decade that followed, more than 60 stores would see the light of day.
